so i'm a dumb ***, had my smog done but never took the time to go to the dmv yet..... i got pulled over for speeding tonight and got my car taken away...


i had insurance and all but that didn't fly with the officer, i explained that i had just bought it and didn't transfer the title yet... told him it was my only means of conveyance but that didn't fly either....................

i guess in the end it was my fault but i'm most worried about the towing, i couldnt even watch... the thing is my car is hella slammed and i know that either my exhaust or front lip is gone tonight

sorry for ranting just wanted 2 share that with the h-t community

I believe the pound will charge you extra just because they have to raise your car up, in order to tow it too.

 

i've only had the car for about 2 months

and my car was towed in costa mesa near southcoast plaza

as for missing parts, my car is completely gutted to begin with no stereo no nothing

if and when i get my car back lol i'll post pictures of the towing damage (if there is any thanks for your replies cross your fingers for me plz

 

I remember when my car was recovered from being stolen. My front lip was ripped to shreds

 

Look at the bright side... at least it wasn't stolen. You know you are going to get your car back.

i got my car back, no damage no missing stuff, just 250 bucks for being in there for 2.5 days

Something similar happened to my buddy.

but tuned hondas arn't

 

ya cops are ********..the least he could do was give u a ticket for registration and speeding..but instead he had to be a lame *** and tow it...hope it all goes well for you

 

im really glad im an out of state driver...though i dont think i would have a problem passing smog i keep my car tuned up real well and i put a high flow 50 state legal cat on there along time ago
