Default questions, problems, hassles.....help plz

I am the proud owner of a 91 'lude 4ws(auto). Unfortunately, I did not know the difference in the warning sounds between a sticking valve/lifter and a rod on it's last legs. Needless to say, I do know, as I have a nice big hole in the block where #2 punched right thru. Doing research to find the best alternative for replacement, I have discovered that not only are original B21A1 $3500(reman) or $4000(brand new) but that is just a long block. I did find a short block for around $1800, but, frankly, I'd prefer not to mess w/ any accessories, nor do I have any desire to put the strain of a rebuilt crank assembly on my 130,000 mile old head. So I did a little more research, and, at http://hmotorsonline.com they offer a H22A complete conversion (drive shafts and all) for $2200+S/H.

Well, to make a long story short......TOO LATE !

Anyone out there dropped one of these puppies into a 91??
What special mounts did you have to use, if any?
The B21A1 is a pretty big block to begin with, so I don't anticipate any problems with the fit. Hell, I make sure I lube my arms up Crisco before I get under the hood even to perform basic maintenance.

At any rate...any help (on any topic, not just an engine/tranny swap) would be much appreciated.

Luv yer suit....
T.

P.S.-Oh by the way....how hard is it to swap a manual tranny into a factory built automatic chassis? And would it be worth it given multi-stage nitrous? Back in my day MS NOx could only be put into an automatic....that still true?
