Default 1991 CRX HF $1900

So I've come across this 1991 CRX HF for $1900. It has new rims, tires, cd player, speakers, that sort of thing. Just changed the starter too. It has 175k miles on it, and I plan on swapping out the motor hopefully.

I'm curious as to what kind of swap would do well in a CRX. I'd really like something that I can get decent power out of, but not too expensive.

Any ideas? I figure you guys are the experts.

$1000 got me a DOHC ZC with everything minus the ecu.

$2000 would have gotten me everything I needed for a b16 swap. Theres also the cost of the hubs you are going to need, which can be had off of a parts car.

I don't know what CRXs typically go for in your area. But $1900 seems REALLY steep to me. I would try to find something cheaper. Unless, of course, CRXs are just expensive in your area. Also, if you plan to do a swap, consider looking for something with a bad motor. Often, the best deal you will find on a Civic/CRX is going to be a dead one with a snapped timing belt.
