Default will a cx tranny work in a lx

I have a 1994 1.5 lx manual
will a 1994 cx tranny work w/o any mods and are there any benifits to the cx over the lx one?

yes it will work and the benefit is that you'll save gas at the expense of performance

cx has long *** gears, especialy 2nd but it's pretty much like an lx one
