I tried searching for this but came up with nothing. But i was thinking about getting this cam for my z6. My question is will i need to upgrade my springs and retainers or can i just put it in and use my stock ones? Thanks in advance

I tried posting it in the tech forums but no one answered.....so maybe someone in here will.

 

You dont have to replace them but it would be a good idea. Two of my buddies had that cam in their z6's and the lobes were soo big that the valves would like tap. So answer is No you dont need aftermarket springs and **** but it would be better for reliablilty and what not.
