I am gonna be completely honest here! I lowered my car via Tein SS coilover kit 2 summers ago. And I slammed it. Looked great (rode good) and I loved it. (prolly about like yours right now (just about tucked - I could have went lower but didn't) I had clearance issues here and there, speed bumps, gas stations, driveways, car washes, quick lubes - you get my drift. I tried to be very carefull but every now and then I would bottom out my exhaust. Didn't think much of it till one day I decided my car was deffinatelly gettin louder and thought I better check my exaust. To my surprise I had cracked my header at collector, and flange, downpipe at the flange, testpipe at flange, and axleback at the flange and muffler. Not only that but my flexpipe was beat up, downpipe was dented in a few spots, and my oilpan had dents scrapes and the plug was even scraped. Thats not to mention the numerous scrapes and scratches to the underbody. Needless to say I jacked my car up about an inch after that, it cost me almost $500 for my new exhaust and reallighnment. Also I didn't get an alighnment right away so I destroyed 2 tires ($250)
Lowering your car that low (for daily driving) is not a good idea. Not to mention the performance aspect. And the fact of CAMBER and wheel allighnment.
Now my car is a daily driver and I use it almost everyday during the spring, summer, fall, but I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN.
Best of luck

that sounds like it may work. but im not quite sure what part of the coilover your talking about?

i cant remember what its called, but the little cap that spins and holds the spring on it to adjust your ride height.. i dont have coilovers, so i dont know what its called, but a friend of mine did it, and it dropped another 1/2 inch.. he cant even go over a pack of cigarettes now.. just flip it over, and just screw it on a lil bit, and then tighten the lil screws..
the adjustable part of the coilover, it has a couple perches and a cylinder with threads on it...sound familiar? i think he wants you to flip that up-side-down. i always thought the threads on thos things went from one end to the other, so why would flipping it make a difference? also, why do you want a car so low? as long as it handles ok now, whats wrong with your setup?

it does go all the way through, but the bottom is flat, and the top has a step on it, if you flip it over it will lose another 1/4 inch or so for the spring to lower... in turn itll lower your car.. it worked on my friends Ground control coilovers...

Thats what I have on my 5th Gen. along with KYB AGXs and I lowered it all the way just to see what it would look like, and I still didn't get rim tuck but I did on in the rear

If you take out the springs completely, you'll scrape all the time, probably have about 1/8" ground clearance is that low enough? Its less unsprung weight that way as well, in case you care about any technical or practical aspect of your car.

if you want to go that low, just go get an air ride system. a daily driver that low is dumb. save up for an air ride system and you'll be able to go wherever you want and not have to pay when you bottom out your exhaust.
