Default How to tell when halfshaft is all the way in the tranny

Is there normally any space between the flat face of the CV housings and the tranny? It seems no matter how much I fuss with the halfshaft install, there is still a 1/8" gap between the halfshaft and the trans housing. Is that normal? BTW this is on a D16a6

yea it seem's a little wierd..... if the seals on the trans are installed properly and you slipped the shaft in without any probs... your good to go. my 88 std hatch is like that and i've seen that on b18's / acuras... as long as everything went it with ease you should be good.
