Default b18 or H22 civic?

ready to build my 95 ex and cant seem to decide between an H22 or b18. Both have the hp but the torque of the h22 seems cool. Either engine would get minor mods, chip, intake, fuel, etc. How much more for an h22 swap? Is it worth it?

i have a b18 ek and it runs smooth and my boi got a h22 eg and he have blown it 2 times already.. and when i ride in his car, it is not smooth ride.. you can't lower it much as the b18.. I would rec. b18(u can beat on it) but h22 feel a little faster b/c torque..

Get a GSR and you'll be satisfied....though with the H22 you will be very happy

Redline = 8K. Thats about when the rev limiter kicks in.

Doesn't this topic get beat to death on here? Red line and rev limiter are two completely different things. If your buddy is shifting at red line, then he's probably selling himself short. And how has he blown up 2? Let me guess, too much Nawz? Try searching.

we need to make a new forum on H-T just for B vs H discussion.

Get a GSR, you can't handle the H .

We could always suggest the infamous H18 or B22. Nothing like combining the two. They'd go perfect with a set of lambo doors.
