Default coolant leak, near IM, 92 DA9 b18a1

hi guys, i have a coolant leak right underneath the IM on my DA. i'm going to pull the IM off, but before i go through with all of that, i was wondering if you guys might know of any reason why there'd be a coolant leak around there. not familiar with the plumbing on b-series (new to tegs), and it doesn't appear to be coming from a hose. the leak is pretty fast, maybe a 1/2 a qt every 2 days...

Where does it look like it's coming from? Coolant is run briefly through the intake manifold:

and/or

Bottom left hand corner of each pic, you'll see where the coolant is run through. Guessing that the gasket that goes around that is bad/damaged, and therefore causing the leak.

awesome, thanks for the picture--it's definitely not coming from the hose connection, but the gasket could be the place of the leak.

it's more towards the center of the IM.

is there any coolant plumbing on the backside of the block?

if it is the gasket, i should then be looking to replace the IM gasket?

thanks for your help guys, much appreciated.

I just replaced my intake manifold gasket... I had the same leak you're describing. The copper ring on the gasket was shot. The gasket is only like $8 and its not too hard to do... Id put my money on that gasket
