my ls vtec is done and running

i just picked up a 92 civic hatch si with a built ls vtec for $1900.00 the guy tried everything to get it running, as soon as i recieved the vehicle i immediatly checked my fuses and..........the ECU fuse was no good and it started right up!!!!!!!!

if he didnt even know to check the fuse it makes me wonder how reliable that ls vtec will be
