Default Antenna nut removal

What's the best way to remove the antenna nut without buying the special tool from Honda?

flat head screwdriver and a nice big hammer just gently tap it and you'll get it loose

or, needle nose pliers and just clamp it and turn, prety easy

90 degrees bend needle nose from swap meet $2.00
You may want to put masking tape around the area just in case.

i was thinking the same question....my antenna makes horrible noises when going up and down, and i want to fix this somehow...can i bring it somewhere to fix it, or can i fix this by myself? get back to me on this, thanks

definately put tape on the paint...you're gauranteed to slip and uh oh the paint.
