As far as fitment, they will be same, so they will fit. But I'm not sure about the spring rates, if that is what you're concerned about.
thanks for the info... stock height is what am concenred about and spring rate is not important for me since am waiting for my coilovers to come in
i was told to buy stock spring/shock combo since i dont have a spring compressor and am even thinking of getting rear stock springs/shock from the scrap yard, but can i do the same thing and get like 4dr rears and still fit on my 99 civic hatch?

Oh, rent a spring compressor from Autozone! You just give them a deposit ($25 or $50 I think it was?), and you get it back when you return the compressor.
cool, but since i can fit any front springs 92-00 civic at the front of my car (lets forghet about spring rates here), so what about the rear suspension on my car if i wanted to change? will the rear shock/spings of my car can work with lets say 97 cuivic 4dr rear suspensions?

If you want to know if parts are the exact same piece, you should spend some time over at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. There you can look up & compare part numbers from different years/models to see if they are the same or not.
Chances are that if you use rear springs from a coupe or sedan, the back of your hatch will ride excessivly high. The fronts may be the exacts same (but mabey not). Compare the part numbers of the springs themselves & will know for sure...
