Wiring diagrams for b18c5 into 5th gen si?
Just re-chip your stock P28 ECU to run the Type R motor. See my screen name? That might tell you that I'm familiar with that swap - I've done 2 B18C5 swaps into 2 different 1992 hatches.
IM the user "kenji" here at H-T and have him re-cip your P28SIHC VTEC ECU. I run his ECU and it outpowered the old JDM ITR P73 ECU I ran before that with a kenji-made jumper harness.
Why go with the re-cipped P28?
1. OBDI. NO additional wiring, easier to tune, etc.
2. MORE whp - isn't that what it's about?
3. Cheaper. What? $150.00 to re-cip a P28 is cheaper than a $300+ P73 ECU+$250 jumper harness
4. Because I said so! J/K.
You will hate the OBDII **** I promise. You have to wire up extra sensors, and it costs MORE money. Trust me on this, and ask around more if you don't believe me.
Later!

Oh, I hope you're still checking this, because here's the most important thing:
Use the Type R engine harness. Lots of people will say that you have to use your Civic's engine harness and injectors, but that NOT true.
I've done 2 of these very same swaps, and one of them I owned, so listen carefully and you will save yourself a lot of trouble.
The harness on the USDM Type R motor PLUGS right into the underhood 1992-1995 Civic harness. This means you keep the newer Type R injectors, and you do NOT have to re-wire the distributor or anything. And since you have a 1992 Si you don't have to wire up anything at all - just plug it in and run the re-chipped P28 and you are done!
This swap is literally like pulling out your SOHC and popping in the same motor. Everything plugs in the same, but the only difference is that you will have a few extra plugs left over on the Type R engine harness for stuff that your car doesn't have that the Integra does. Like ABS pump, perhaps the A/C, etc. This is nothing to be worried about.
Good luck, and keep us posted.

I believe this pic helps explain what Tom was saying......
* pics courtsey of Mr Katman

sorry Kat and Trey but a 99+ SI coupe harness will not plug into the OBD1 factory plugin on the shock tower.... It is a full length one piece harness with the ECU connector plugs on the end.. all others (GSR, ITR,etc) will work as far as i know like the pic describes..

Trey:

you are getting old dude! You corrected me on the 99 Si deal once before - let's keep it focused so it's not confusing, okay?

I posted the pic since it illustrated the two piece harness.
I know that the 96-00 Civics are a one piece harness.
The post was referring to the 92-95 Civic harness.

Does this mean that on my 94 DX I can use a 98 spec harness? Only adding 3 wires for VTEC from the engine harness to the ECU? Does it have to be p28? Can I use a chipped p30?
