Default New accord. SHoul be modded right off the bat?

Hi, i just a brand new accord 05 with only about 8,000 miles on it. I bought a COLD AIR AEM intake that i want to install but some say i should wait a little while. What do you guys suggest?

I dont really know why those people who told you that did, but i dont understand where they're coming from, do they want you to bring the mileage up on your car and then put upgrades on it? if you have the intake then you should get it installed, its not going to mess up your engine at all and it would be alot better to put it on at the lowest mileage possible

besides, i wouldnt really consider a cold air intake a mod, its one of the most common "performance parts" put on hondas, and depending on the brand they dont run for very much money so anyone can afford them, and you wont get as much horsepower as you think out of them, i know the description probably said 10hp gains or more, but thats crap, youve got a long way to go as far as "mods" but a 2005 accord with 8k miles isnt a bad start at all my friend

Install it now. It makes your car run better and there's no reason not to have your car running as good as possible.

i'd say install the cold air. if you end up not liking it you could always throw your stock air box back on.
