Default cable clutch help

i have a 91 crx b16....i think i stretched and may have broken the cable on the clutch..theres a lil rip at the bottom where it connects to the arm of the clutch...i dunno if thats my problem or my clutch is out cuz when i turn my car on.i cant put it in n e gear but if i have it off.the gears go in...so if n e 1 can help me out..i'd appreciate it..thanks guys

can someone please help me here..i wanna know if my clutch is out or could be that the cable clutch is causin the problem....the clutch pedal feels real real soft..if that helps any...thanks

tighten your cable. your cable is to lose. i had that problem before and all you need to do is tighten the cable. it should work but if not let me know

what you need to do is pull up the lever as far as you can with your hand and then tighten the cable accordingly. tighten it up until it has become tight and then back it off a few screws. let me know how it goes.

alright.thanks bro...ima do that 1st thing in the morning......im hopin its the cable and not the clutch..i got the clutch about 5 months ago

If the clutch burns out it won't grip, unless the pressure plate breaks or something. I also found that securing the clutch cable so that it doesn't move around helps a little bit with engagement.

hey guys..i went to an auto parts to buy a new cable clutch..put the cable in and now the gears go in..it was the cable all along...thanks for the help guys..i appreciate it
