Ima go with the B18. Or just turbo the D you have in there now. I dunno though, how does price fit into all this? Need a bit more info.

well if youre looking to turbo the motor you put in i would just do a z6 and turbo it you still pull good power and be reliable with out pushing the limits

well i dont have a lot of money, i already have the turbo components and a turbo from an eclipse. i like the b18 because it holds more, its a dohc and it doesnt need any wyring just the ecu for it but i need custom mounts and shift lincage. i like the D16z6 because its vtec and it drops right in but its not as strong or as powerful and i have to wire up vtec, i need more opinions

The b is definatly a better choice for turbo if you can afford it, but you'd have to do a whole b swap and that might eat up your entire budget. Check out http://www.turbod16.com if you haven't already. Those guys are making some awesome numbers with stock d series engines.

I'd say stick with the D. Only because I have a z6 and I love that motor.

Go with the d16z6 because it will be easier to replace if u ever boost too much and then BOOM!!!

yes you can use integra mounts and linkage..... but before you go swappin b for d you are going to pay more for the b than the d and make about the same power.... i was gonna turbo my z6 in the hatchie for a while until i decided i want to autocross but for 900-1100 i was gonna get the home made turbo setup ( a friend was gonna build it for me ) and tuned and he guaranteed that i would make atleast 200whp if not more on 8 psi with completly stock z6.....

i mean im not going to make your desicion but you have to think down the road... what happens if that ls blows... you gonna have enough to get another ls longblock??? or what happens if the z6 single cam blows??? **** oh whell 300 bucks for a longblock and your good

d15b is 420 shipped from soko america (google their name). throw in a turbo kit or peice it yourself and you'll have 2 grand in a 200+ whp setup depending on your tuning and how much boost you choose to push

i would go with the z6, parts are cheaper and the b18a is old as hell, the z6 will be newer, i dont think the b18a is better than the z6 at all .2 liters doesnt make much difference in torque at all and a turbo d has a tons of torque (relatively), but then again i am biased...slightly

Neither...boost it and when it/if it blows up then go with a b-series.

More torque with even 5 psi NTM its reliable.
