There is a product called "headlight resurfacer." I've never used it but the name is pretty self-explanatory. You should be able to get it at Pepboys or Autozone or somewhere like that. I saw it at the shop when my tranny went out. Hope this helps.

well what i did was buy 1000, and 2000 grit sandpaper, also i got a polishing compound, total cost about 5 bucks
just make sure you wetsand the thing, and not just sand it, use 1000 first, then take out most of the scratches with 2000, and make sure you get that yellow layer out, i did mine the first time, then looked at a different angle and you could see a clear layer in the middle, this took the longest time, but as you can see, it looks great, and was well worth my 4 hours hope this helps

I think the product you're looking for is Mother's Plastic Polisher. Funny, the same thing happened to my headlights and I thought the haze was inside the lens. It turns out it's caused by thousands of tiny scratches on the outside.

Yay, my virgin post.

try stuff called blue magic plastic/plexiglass cleaner found at autozone or pepboys. it is like a wax that takes the yellow haze out. its not permanent though, you will have to do it every couple of weeks. the only way to permanently fix the problem is to replace the headlights.
