how easilly do the tubes slide in and out of the double slip collectors? is it easy enough that you can slide the primaries into the collector....mark them..cut them..weld them...etc and be able to slide them in and out fairly easy?

 

Depends how "right" you make everything. When the tubes slip in the collector, they can move side to side a bit. If you have each straight on, then everything will come apart and go back together pretty easy. If you cheat and pull a tube to the side, then it's not so easy to r&r.
