make 5 lug?
well a friend was telling me.
a cheap easy way to put 5lug on your civic/integra is by using the whole
front crv assembly. arms, rotors and, calipers. since the axles are 36mm, you can't use them on usdm cars so you can use axles from a prelude, which bolt up perfectly to a b series motor.
thats your front assembly.
for the back...
using the rear prelude assembly and hubs, and transfer it over to your civic/integra arms.
i haven't actually seen this being done. but thats like 500 bux worth of parts for a 5lug assembly, has anyone heard or tried this before?
i need more information, i might start this project.

well here is one way of doing a 5 lug conversion, on all 96 up civics the front knuckle assemble are the same(same part #)includion 99-00 Si's.Well the Si' have the same bearing as an ITR(same part#)so on the front all u need it is to buy two itr bearings, hubs, rotors and calipers.Press it all together and u have the front done. Now on the back, You have to have rear disc for this to work.Go and buy ITR rear hubs and bearings, since they are made on to each other, get the ITR rear calipers and rotors, put it all together, and you have the rear done. The e-brake cable bolts up and so does the e-brack caliper of the any rear disc. Now buying this stuff new will cost around 900 dollars(this is with the honda discount)But you can also use the front rotor off of a prelude or accord, and the front caliper off of a legend or prelude, or accord. Now those are easy to come across because junkyards are covered up with those kinda cars.On the back when you go and put the nut on that connects the hub to the trailling arm, it will only catch about 5 or 6 threads, but that is enough for it to work.See my friend and i r currently doing this to our cars, and so far so good.O and in order to run RSX wheels you need to run spacers in the front, because the calipers will hit.
No, dx knuckle is different from ex/si.
Only the 10" rotor knuckles will allow the bolt on of integra+ calipers.
Front crv assemblies are probably less $ than itr and are the same.

Well i was thinking about it, and on the 99-00 civic hatch, the knuckles are the same as the 99-00 Si, My mistake on that.To prive it, go to honda, cross the part#'s up betweet the 99-00 dx-ex, and the Si, they will be the same. The reason why I know this is because, my friend for one works on the parts department at honda, and he loves looking at part#'s, its just his things i guess, and 2 his car is a 00 civic Dx, and we have already finished the front, with the parts i have listed.
And as far as the front Crv assembly, i was just give another option on doing the 5 lug, and most of the parts that r used by honda as far as 5 lug consist, probably have the same part number, example the crv front hubs may have the same parts number as the ITR, i don't know for sure, but I do know honda uses alot of the same parts on different cars to keep the cost of production down.
Sorry, but the knuckles arent the same, regardless of what your friend thinks the numbers are. No offense, but if he's anything like 90% of the other dealer employees Ive come across, the mistake wouldnt surprise me.
The dx uses a 9" rotor and the ex/si is 10" - To accommodate these sizes a different caliper is also used, with different mounting places on the knuckle.
You can believe it or not, but thats correct.
(This is why people with dx's, wanting to upgrade to ex/si or integra+ calipers, have to swap knuckles to that match)
Hubs may be the same, but the knuckle itself is different.

I hate to say it but your right, i just called honda up and made him cross the two knuckles up, and he was like, hum, what tha hell, i could have sworn they were both the same, but i still don't understand, why we got everything to work on the front of his car, not unless he has some teg or Ex knuckles on the front.I don't know, but i told him thanks for making me look like a dumb *** on HT.Sorry for trying to correct you, when it was me who didn't know what the hell i was talking about.I guess since we completed his car, with these parts that there was no reason for me to check the part numbers myself, but regardless if you have integra, Ex or Si knuckles it can be done.
