knocking in rear on 97
i just boughta 97 ex coupe and it has adj. coilovers with stock shocks, no camber kit. we went to get new tires and found out the top of the shock didnt have screws on them. we fixed that and just today we tried raising it and found out the left rear shock is blown.
if the shock is blown will it effect the coilovers? like the hieght?
second. we fixed the free roaming shocks and adjusted them a little bit higher today and now, there is a knocking kind of noise when i go over little/big bumps.
can anyone help me get this resolved i just want a smooth riding vehicle.
thanks

this is how the coilovers are in my car
the adjustments sit in the cup at the bottom, along with the threads.

and on my sisters (who's rides nice and smooth)

the adjustments on the coilover sit above the bottom of the shock, where the threads rest, in the cup at the bottom.
let me know if this makes anysense. any help is useful
