Can I replace a b17 headgasket with a b16 headgasket???

I got a b17 and the headgasket is toast. Can I replace it with a b16 headgasket? I called Advance Auto and they dont carry the b17 HG and from what ive been told a b17 is almost identical to a b16 other than the stroke.

Can anyone confirm this?!

Yes, the B16 gasket will work fine.

search confirmed. a 99 si has a b16 right?
