Halo Projectors (angel eyes) for DCs [searched]
so I was gonna get halos (angel eyes) for my 00 GSR cuz I always liked them. I ****** JOCK how they look on my friends M5 and my other friend did the fiber-optics kit to his M3 and they look even sicker! anyway I searched here for info on them and didn't get much. But I did see a few negative comments by people who had them on some thread about wiring them.
so my question is.. what exactly is (are) the problem(s) with them?

i put them on my buddy's car -- install was a piece of cake. i just wired the halos into his running lights. only problem was that they did fog up a little -- nothing some clear silicone couldn't fix.
response to original post: Halo projectors look cool but are not cool for highway driving w/ out brights on. My dc4 (pictured above, yeah Joni) only has a headlight range of about 2 carlengths very unsafe for freeway driving, other Integras i've driven (95 gsr) had a hl range of 3-4 carlengths. Keep your 100-200 bux and buy some piaa bulbs for 50 bux. If you like the look of beemer headlights, go for it, they look sick w/ only running lights on.
Problems: Leaky, Short Range,
Advantages: BRIGHT brights, inside lights are blue halos for normal driving.
