Default AEM CAI intake a POS

put an aem in my friends type s tonight.. what kinda ******* garbage is that.... when we first put it in the shift linkage wacked the intake and wouldn't let it go into 1, 3, or 5 gear.. so we had to move it so it just barely slid past the intake.. seriously aem, get a clue.. build your **** so it dosn't sit MM's away from a vital moving part.. i'm sure within the week ima have to re-pry the intake off the tranny so it can shift

Some people shouldn't work on cars!!! If you can't figure out that twisting the intake makes more than enough room to clear all the tranny parts your an idiot!!!

Do a search next time before you try and install something. Go to clubrsx.com, that issue was talked about many times, you need to make sure the CAI is in the right position when doing the install. Maybe let a professional do it next time.
