Q: Does your 96-00 Coupes have Dark Grey interior?
I need to confirm this, people with Coupes (especially 98), let me know what color your interior is. You can find the code on your door sill. Thanks
Here's what I found w/ a search:
Color Code K is DarkGrey/Classy Grey
Color Code F is Lightgrey/Charcoal
Color Code P is Beige

ummm he wasn't talking about the color of the car, he meant the interior. I have a 97 hx with type k interior and it's dark gray. All 96-98 should be the same though so the exact year should not matter.

The reason i posted the color of my car, is because I was under the impression that the exterior color was directly related to the interior color.

It's cool, I didn't mean anything by it, and you are most correct. Only certain inside/outside color combinations you could get from factory. Mine is grenada black pearl, can't think of the code off hand and I don't feel like walking out there to get it either. IMO I think the fbp of the 99-00 does look better though. When I get mine painted I'm thinking of switching over to that.

I would say type k is def. the most common. I have seen beige before but it was rare from all the dark gray ones I've seen. I was like wtf I never seen a civic with a beige interior before. I don't remember if it was a coupe or sedan though. I think the light gray came with cx's and dx's. And don't hold me to this but I'm pretty sure that all hx's came with type k interiors and the colors are only red, silver or black.
hmmm, now Im confused, did honda just flip a coin to determine if a coupe got dark or light grey? is there a method to the madness??? Maybe it does have to do w/ the exterior colors.

Your interior color does relate to your exterior color, my buddy has a milano red 96 civic w/ interior K and I have a 00 taffeta white civic with interior F.
Darker colors get the darker interior.
Only sedans with light exterior colors got the biege interior.
