I have a 2000 EX and the back door wont open. When you try to open the door from the outside the door doesnt open. Seems like the handle isnt connected to anything.

 

remove the door panel and chk the linkage ,,possibly the hold down clip broke.. or got disconnected

 

did u check the child safety lock ?????

i thought that was only for the inside of the car, so children dont open the door while someone is driving.. but then again i could be way off. I jsut dont see why they would make a safty lock so u cant open your door from the outside. *shrugs*


anyways gurnatee if u take your door panel off like desert said u will find the problem easily
