OT: Airbag related.
Some friends and I spent about 8 hours of our lives today swaping my tan interior for another guys black interior in my teg. Anyways, my car is a 94, and his is a 97. The air bag harnesses did not match up. There is 2 wires coming out of both airbags, in my 94 they are both a greyish, in his 97 they are both a pinkish color. Would it mess anything up just to cut the harness off of my air bag and solder it on to his, and then do the same to his airbag for mine? I know the question is a little unclear, if you need to know more info, please ask.
It should be fine just be careful when you turn it on the first time. I work at a scrap yard and when we blow the airbags off I wonder how those things can save anything. They are so violent. Anyways be careful when you are hooking **** up.
There is no strip, or indication of what wire is what, they are both identical. so it dosn't matter what side of the harness the wire goes too?
