I was wondering if there is any difference in performance/comfort between 16 and 17s. And if there is, how much of a difference? Also take tire price and thread life into account. Thanks!

17's that came with my car

 

16" I had 17's and they allways looked to big for the car. I jsut got 15's and they look great!!!!

 

Im actually torn between the 2. I have 16's and it looks to me that 17's would look a lot better. IMO. I might be selling my 16 Rota Grids soon so if anyone is interested lemme know.

I say either or. If you were to get 17's, just make sure they are not some ricer wheels thats all. They wont look funky. 16's look cool too, so I would say go where ever the deal is at $$ wise. However I did vote for 16's only because you did not have a part of the poll that says "either or"

 

I had momo gt 17s that came with my car. Yes it looks somewhat 4x4ish but in all honesty I don't think they look as terrible as some. Granted, they are going to be changed to probably 16's but that is a different story. Here is what the 17's looked like:

 

depends on the wheel..some wheels look good in 17", but most of the wheels posted here are hideous in any diameter....

go w/ 16s for better tire prices...and less weight than the same 17" wheel..

16" is the best way to go..

Dude that's messed up. I have those same rims on my car lol. They came with it when i bought it as well.

I was actualy gonna get Rota Grid 17s (TE37 replicas).. now I'm not sure.

Damn.. 1-31 is not a good score for the 17s

 

17s and a lip kit look the best.

 

17's on my dc2 i think it looks good and its not slammed either.

 

i dont think my 17" looked as bad as everyone says 17" do

not sure about the rims but it looks like an OEM ITR lip to me
