Can I put a hydro tranny in a 91 civic hb dx? I have a d16y8 motor and it all ready has the hydro tranny on it. I was just wondering if i could use it. If so, How can i do it . Thanks

haha that fool is at the shop all the time

anyway no with the single cams just use the tranny that came with your hatch until you can source a si tranny. ask joel about his old one cause its still at the shop i believe.

I was hoping to be lazy and not swap trannys. I know any d series cable tranny will work on this motor. I just thought there was a way to get the hydro to work.

 

Get the hydro mounts at a store...thanks alot man now there all going to think were crazy!!!

 

It would be great for the D-series guess to have a nice Hydro conversion parts. Maybe there is something out there already and I just don't know about it but maybe not.
