Default tunning question

i know this is a stupid question but what does tunning exatly mean. Am trying to turbo my car and i heard that you have to tune your car. how do you tune your car . thnxs

if you think of everything that goes on with your car as a set of interdependant conditions, then to "tune" them is to reach an optimal balance of its total potential.

introducing a turbo throws almost everything out of balance.

obviously everything with the motor is out of wack, but impact of change extends though the whole functionality of the car and it must be tunned to bring everything back into balance.

Or you can do it yourself with a wideband 02 for free with a street tune. Considering he is a noob, I would pay for the tunning. Yea it should be around 100-150 an hour. You also need something to tune your with. For example: an Apexi V-AFC.

Lets say you put a turbo on your car. You are going to need to put more fuel into the engine to compensate for the extra air. So tunning the car will put more fuel into the combustion chamber and also the timing will need to be adjusted.

If you are OBD0 - TurboEdit

If you are OBd1 - Crome, hondata, Neptune....other options as well.
