I need axles for a b16 tranny, ordered them for a del solvtec and the drivers side axle has to be a male inside end and this one is female, the shop doing the work says they cant find one with a male end, which one do I need to get?

 

some del sols were sold with b16's in them so just get one of those axles

 

thats what i did, not the right one, I have no idea why.

 

i have never heard of a honda axle that has a female inside end. axles are always male both ends. this makes no sense to me, if you order axles for a del sol with the b16 they should fit fine

 

some of the 94+ integras had male intermediate shafts, hence the female inner joint. my integra had a male intermediate shaft. you could make your own axles, but have fun paying the core charge.

do you know the part number or anything? all axles I have found everywhere are wrong, can I run 90-93 integra axles? because they have male inside end.

 

you could try that im not sure if they will fit or not.

 

i have had 3 integras and they all had the same style axles male both ends, 92 rs, 94ls, 01 gsr

im not saying your a liar i believe you im just interested in this, ive never seen an axle like that on a teg

buy an axel for a 90-93 integra and your problem is solved. You just dont have the right halfshaft for the 94-up axels.
