Default Q's about lowering my s2k

I was reading about lowering my s2k and j's racing said i need driveshaft spacers ?? so when i lower it the drive shaft wont wearout is this true or bs

Those are for super-slammed cars that ends up with CV joints that have to work at an angle for all their lives, under load and tension. The spacers reduces the tension, and supposedly helps wear on those joints.

Put the springs on your car, let them settle, then determine whether or not you need them.

He already stated the drop. ~1 inch, nothin compared to some of the street sweepers running around.
