take out amber in tail lights

Default take out amber in tail lights

have a 5th gen lude, and i want to take out that amber piece in the white part of the tail lights..was wondering if anyone has done this, how, the diffuculty, tools that i would need, and also time it took if have pics thats a major plus as well thanks in adance for the help

Read it, the procedure is the same, depending on how your lights are... you may not have an amber piece to remove, however, this is solved by "scraping" the grooves with the screw driver, thus removing 90% of the amber part, which will create clear lights.

Regardless of how the inside of your taillights is, once you have them open, I'm sure you can figure out what to do.

there is a much easier way.

you can cut a hole in the bottom of the light and just pull the amber piece out rather than breaking it up and risking scratching the chrome.
