Default CLUTCH HELP ASAP PLS

IM SO SCREWED and im sooo pissed at this car right now

I put in a new clutch ACT street disk full face and an ACT extreme pressure plate

no matter what i do i can't get the clutch to engage
1st i broke the pedal assembly so i got it welded
2nd i stretched the clutch cable so i bought a new one

i don't know what i could have done wrong on the clutch install but it will not engage the pedal pulls the arm up like a half an inch, but you can feel no engage point.. Im so frustrated right now somebody please help me

The clutch won’t disengage or engage?
When you say the arm doesn't move more than 1/2"; is that with the clutch pushed to the floor or is it when you let off the clutch pedal?
Can you shift into gear?
Can you rev. the engine freely in 1st gear?

It sounds like you have the wrong clutch cable or you have too much slack on the cable itself. Cable engaged clutch's on Honda's are fairly simple, either there is enough leverage or there isn't. Was the pedal assembly welded together correctly?
Did you replace the throw out bearing?

Hey thanks for the reply

The clutch wont engage, its not the cable because ive fucked with the slack a bunch and nothing.

Usually when you push a cable clutch down you can feel that spot where the clutch is engaged

When the car is off it will go through the gears with the car on and the clutch done it will not go into any gear.

Yes i replaced the throw out bearing

i tried to manually pull the lever up, and ive even tried to jack the lever up and something is wrong inside. I just want to know what i did wrong.

the throw out bearing had the same exact numbers as the one i replaced it with so i know its right, i could have messed up installing it though i guess.

I would just like to know if i gatta pull the tranny or if anyone else has had this problem.

b4 i put everything back together i manually played with the lever and throw out and it moved good and was connected to the clips

this disk isn't backwords, what i think happend was the dumbass guy who turned the flywheel didn't get the step... so the clutch is bottemed out.

the disk lays flat against the flywheel right? because no way i got it backwords

any chance do you think you over torqued the pressure plate? the more you torque it the more the spines on the plate will be pushed into the clucth disk... thinking about it... i knew someone who over torqued a pressure plate and was still able to enguage the pedal... if you got the time... run through it again and double check your work... (im not saying you did a bad job... but you gotta solve this... i know what its like to need your car for your routines in life man).

the flat part of the disk is toward the flywheel and the other side that is pushed out from the disk is the pressure plate side...

Im gonna pull everything out again. Check the flywheel step and make sure i didn't put the clutch in backwords. Honestly if i hadn't done this so many times before i would guess that, that was it.

When I install the clutch backwords the tranny won't even slide in. I actually grinded and made a crack on my clutch by forcing it (because i didn't know it was on backwords), so it cannot be backwords.

Are you sure you have it adjusted all the way? Pull the arm up on the tranny as high as you physically can, then tighten the adjuster down about 3 full turns. You ARE NOT going to be able to engage the clutch with your hand unless you can pull about 1500lbs. try that before you tear it all apart again.
