What you guys think about this motor...
Thinking about getting this motor for a 91 Hatchback. What you guys think?

I am selling a D16a6 short block with a D16z6 VTEC Head. Which is known as "mini me". It is a direct bolt in swap for 88-91 CRX/Civic. Great for anyone who wants a little more power from their CRX/Civic. I never started the engine up. I bought the "mini me" (D16a6 block w/ VTEC head) from RCrewRacing in Brisbane, California. I am trying to sell for how much i got the engine for. Please do not lowball me. I will not respond to lowballers. PERIOD! If your offer is reasonable. I will give you a call back.
RCrewRacing motorsport is greatly known for their Type R engines they sell. So when a customer decided to let RCrewRacing do a Type R swap. The customer gave the motor to them. So the engine was later sold to me. The D16a6 block has 120k on it. And the D16z6 VTEC head has approximately 80k from what i was told.
The reason why i am selling is because i inherited a B16a engine from my brother. And decided not to go D series. RCrewRacing motorsports reassure me that the engine is "guranteed" to start up. But i havent started the engine up yet. So i can not guaranteed anything except the words from RCrewRacing. The engine needs a new timing belt and a distributor to start up. </TD></TR></TABLE>

how cheap? the car has a D15b1? DPFI 1.5 4-speed.
I looked into it a while back and it got pretty pricey. Beucase of all the MPFI and OBD conversion stuff. I think It was a little over 1,100. With that much I would just get a B16 Swap.

I wouldn't touch it with a stick, you don't have no idea where this engine has been. Just save up a little more and buy a D15B Vtec from hmotorsonline for 430, definately worth their price and hmotors have an extreme good reputation. Just a thought, Good Luck.
If you want to swap a SOHC Vtec do it right the first time and convert to OBD1, if you buy a D15B from HMO it already comes with a complete intake manifold, along with a distributor. All you need is a P28 or P08 along with an OBD1 jumper harness and your set. Just save your cash and you should be happy with the outcome.
