Hey guys and girls,

I was wondering if anyone know what this problem I have with my integra?

Whenever I start my car, it makes a strange noise in the ignition area, kinda like a grinding sound. This is when I put the key in and turn ignition. I was just wondering if anyone has this happen and what the problem is.

starter ig going bad.....sileniod (sp) it sounds like

could this still be the problem?

Also can this cause major problems?

 

noise coming from the engine compartment or steering column? in any case, doesn't sound good. I'd take it in to the dealer for warrenty work.

 

I have a 01 GSR with 4700 miles and the problem you are having is the problem I've had in Denver only when the temperature drops to like 0-5 degees at night. If you live in a warmer climate and if it happens to you everyday I'd be concern, my guess is that it has to do something with the clutch.
