Default Clutch problems? WTF? Hydro tranny

ok this car is making me so mad...just got everything fixxed like a week ago and now it is acting up again...this one should be an easy fix though check it out

its a 99 gsr

the car wont go into gear while it is running, i know the clutch is old but it isnt slipping at all....i think this is some sort of master cylinder or slave cylinder problem? anyone know

i was driving and all of the sudden the car just like died on me in gear, i took the car out of gear and started it and it wont go into gear so the car id ideling and then i force it into gear and the car just shuts off....so i turn the car off put it in gear and start it and it freaking tries to die so you slip the clutch and it moves...but its extremely hard to get the car into the other gears going through the gearbox but at least it moves....

when u stop u have to turn the car off to get it back into gear to move it...what the hell?

did you check under your clutch pedal for brake fluid. chech you clutch master cylinder to see if it is low. also check behind the boot on your slave cylinder for leaking.

i also had this problem and after replacing my master and slave it still did it. my clutch didnt slip at all so i couldnt imagine it was the clutch but i couldnt even drive around the block without having problems. eventually i got a new clutch and it turned out that even though it wasnt slipping the plate was so beat that the fingers were not stiff enough and my clutch just wouldnt work

nothing was leaking it was just that the pressure plate was so weak it couldnt disengage the clutch anymore. also i only had 2 springs left in the clutch disk and the other 2 were broken in pieces. it was weird though because it didnt slip at all.
