Default Vtech Question

hey.. i got a quick question... say u have a vtec motor... is running boost off your vtec motor worth it?? ive just heard from people that its not really worth it but i wanted to know from some people that have a lot of experience with these motors...info would be great

I dodnt see why people say that. Ihave actually heard it alot but not much on here. I think it was peopel who had no clue what they were talking about or saw some m4d tyte racer guy who didnt use VTEC so they thought it was the best way. You gotta tune the **** either way

VTEC flows better in the head due to the cam lobe so naturally the turbo will love that.

BTW its VTEC not Vtech .

They say that cause they are ignorant and they figure all vtec motors have high compression because they rev high, just swap in some low compression pistons and turbo like dude said vtec heads flow better and make good top end power

Typically they do though.

Why? If your compression is 9.5:1 to even 10:1 you should be fine, its when you get into 11:1 that makes you worry, just make sure to not overheat or upgrade your radiator since compression = heat.
