Walked up to my car this morning and saw this:


Made me feel so happy inside!
I was just glad to see that my car was still there. So much for secure underground-gated parking. Upon further examination they punched out both my locks on the doors (making me assume that they just broke the glass for ***** and giggles (*******). Here are some more images from inside:

Where did my head unit go? Seems that project un-rice just got kicked in gear so I will be able get some insurance money and continue to upgrade security. Surprised that once they popped the hood they didn't take any of the following:


I'm in the Palo Alto area (just moved in last Wednesday), if anyone knows of any good shops or can do good work and want to help me out and make some money let me know. Thanks for your help.

Head unit, little pack or burnt cds, and my sub/amp. I'm assuming they might come back for more. I was paraniod before, but now my gun stays besides me and I check on my car hourly.

man i know how it is......i got lucky.....when they broke into my integra i used to have the dumbass did it in the middle of the day in a mall parking lot......so of course they nabbed my radar detector (wow like that's hard to do) but they didn't get the head unit even though they had obviously tried.......there were scratch marks in the plastic housing that holds the head unit in the dash.......i guess someone drove by and spooked them........but good thing they didn't get it cause it was a 400 dollar alpine head unit and i didn't have full coverage.

the window cost 175 to replace......80 bucks for window and the rest for labor which we later realized we could have done easily seeing as it was the passanger side door window (easy as expletive to replace)

you happen to know anyone or a shop in this area that would be good to fix window, door locks, etc? The second that I talk to my insurance have them look at the vehicle and they give me a check to get the work done getting a **** load of hidden sirens with seperate batteries.
