Sorry if it's been asked. I searched but maybe i didn't search hard enough.
How much would a JDM rhd type r worth, or how much would you pay for one. Lets say it's a 96 stock jdm type r with 54,000 km (around 33,500 mi), street legal, paperwork is already done, etc...
I need an idea of how much I should ask for.
Thanks

IMO, its hard to put a square price on a JDM ITR.
It's worth the price someone's willing to pay for it.
Aside from condition, etc... If you've got something of great interest to others thats hard to come by, its value is increased. The price all depends on what someone's willing to pay for it, i. e. buyer 1 is only willing to pay 6K while buyer 2 is willing to pay 15K. Who would you sell to?

Low miles, DOT legal, and titled definitely helps.. but like 808dc2 said, it's a matter of what someone is willing to pay. Not too many ppl would put up with daily driving a RHD car, and only a few ppl would have the money for a track car that's a complete car (not a shell/project).
If it's in excellent condition I think you could get $10k-$11k for it.

Word.
Better to part it out and sell the shell

There's a guy selling a 96 jdm R. From what he says, it has low mileage (54,000km, 33,500mi) excellent condition inside and out, stock except exhaust, street legal with papers. He's asking 18,000 or best offer. I think I can ask him 16,500 for it. Do ya'll think it's still too much?
I asked him about the price and he said that he seen 98 jdm R sellin for over 20k. That's why he started at 18k obo..

No, just the wing and the steering wheel. I think I got jipped!
P.S. I didn't really pay 4 grand, only joking. I paid 20 for mine, legalized and everything. My regi sticker says 96 Honda
