Whats the best Direct Port Nitrous System.
I know ZEX just came out with a new direct port system but i have never heard of anyone using it.. and well NITROUS EXPRESS always makes good stuff,, i was just curious what u guys think..
PLUS: if anyone has pictures or specs on their setup could u post them .

Alot of people use it....
I haven't installed one personally yet, but this is the wave of the future with nitrous installations. The problem with Direct Port before was bending of the tubing. If you did it alot, chances are it looked great. If you didn't, it took awhile and never looked very good.
Zex kit makes it simple to install and easy to change jets. Its also the only one that can be jetted down below 50hp if I remember.
Pricewise its about the same as the others.
Give it a shot, Zex products are very good.

have you experienced any problems with the teflon tape contaminating your lines?

is there a logic to where the direct port jet is placed in the IM. i always though it was supposed to be like 3inches back from the flange, but it seems that everyone does it differently, so just wondering.
i have heard atleast a few times that direct port kits should have shorter fuel lines than n20 lines. Although, i see that many people, including manufacturers with pre done braided lines keep them about the same distance. Just curious what some of you guys running the kits have to say on the subject?
thank you

nobody likes using the plate system??? i havent dealt with nitrous since 1996... but i remember that the plate system was just coming out... supposedly replace the whole direct port setup. btw that s2k has a niceeeee setup.. i like the steel braided lines instead of those lines u have to bend yourself... makes it look much more cleaner

Its becuase the pressurized nitrous will flow faster than the fuel. When I did mine I tried to keep them all the same length. I really don't think it matters.

that kit looks killer...but preforms like ****,because of where they have the mixture coming in.if you ever run this kit you will see what i am talking about.

i jsut saw that NOS is releasing an injector direct port system.
http://store.summitracing.com/...h.asp
look like it could be a better design than the NX fuel rail kit but still pretty strange.
I've been considering throwing a direct port system onto my turbo car, just to add a little 75-100 shot just to have that kick of the torque curve. but it seems that everyone does thier ports differently. I see plumbed high on the IM runners and others by the injectors.
I guess i'm still too much of a noob around the area to fully understand everything, but i figure with the small shots i would do, then i don't need to go the extra mile on separate fuel regulators and such.

i found this last night, i dont know if the injector nozzles will work on a honda but it is worth giving a call. I have the nx direct port for a street bike, (bought it to convert from a dry single fogger to wet direct port cheaper) it has the piranha nozzles (smaller than the shark so takes less space) and comes with the shower head distribution blocks and ss lines works great.

this is the system Dean@phasechangeracing.com did for me a while back. i really dont think anyone can argue against his workmanship or prices. he's also become an active member here on honda-tech and loves to share his knowledge and secrets with anyone willing to listen, customer or not.

i also believe he's going to be coming out with some pre-fabbed gsr systems with the whole works: ported manifold, etc.

dumb question, but why does the nitrous selenoid have 2 inputs and the fuel only one? aka, i notice you have the an fitting on the fuel selenoid, and the other selendoid has two selenoids, both that need fittings, why?

i would like to know as well
.....an another question.
can i use 55 gal. drums for my nitrous and fuel solinoids..the only
problem i see is finding a place to mount them.
