Default Civic Exhaust

I just got this new exhaust system for my 96 civic hatch and also got a converter for it. The problem is, it's not long enough... my motor is a B16a so i think thats the problem why it's not long enough... anyone have any suggestions on how to make it fit? The exhuast i bought is for a hatch and the conver is for a 96-00. Help please!

The brand i got was 5zigan, and the converter was a no namer, got it off of ebay... the muffler fits, the bent piping that conects to the muffler fits but the long part of the pipe doesn't fit which starts from the converter to the back until it does that S bent to connect to the muffler... it comes up short when i try to connect the converter to the headers... would you know if there are different size of converters for civics?
