Took the motor and tranny out for rebuild, and decided to go ahead and paint the car. I'm trying to figure out what this line is. It is the one marked "unknown". It runs together with the fuel and fuel return.... I'm thinking its a breather of some sort, but not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

EVAP hose, runs to the black canister under the battery

 

Also known as the charcoal canister or carbon canister....Basically an emissions thing which you probably already know.
