Default behind the firewall..

i was drilling a hole through the firewall on the passenger side of my 99 civic to get a amp wire going. went through the wall and then something else.. liquid was spraying out everywhere as if there is high pressure. it was oily and clear. i was thinking that it was freon. possibly i hit the evaporator? could anyone tell me what i have damaged? the red circle is where i drilled..

I know this is a little off topic, but i have run wires through the firewall on my civic several times, but a few months ago we tried to run amp wire through my brothers integra and we couldnt find a hole. Im just curious to where other people run it through on tegs.

yeah and they used to use liquid mercury to treat diseases in teh past as well, usually you died of mercury poisoning, but the other diseased was cured....

and to the people that sya there is no health risk...not much in small qantities but have you ever heard of asphyxiation?

on my last car, i broke an ac line and was sprayed in the face with freon for about 2 seconds. I had a scratchy throat and a cough for about 2 weeks afterwards. Can't attest to long-term problems, but it does affect you.

Wow...Usually there is a hole w/grommet in it right behind your battery. U can see it if you take it out.

As well as several others already ther as well..

Hell dood...you could have even used the throttle cable hole instead of drilling!!!
