hey..... you didn't post what car you have and considering you're in the crx / EF fourm im guessing you got a 88 to 91.

"well i ran the wire i used for my big tach i ran over to the stock one cause the stock wire has a short in it.now it aint working.does anyone have any ideal why its not working."
If you're sure that wire is good, works fine on the monster tach and is connected directly to the blue on the dizzy..... maybe you're tapping into the wrong one on the cluster? OR maybe the tach on the cluster is no good?

i'll quote myself from this other threaad :::

"hey... ok that prob took more than 15 or 20 mins.... this should answer your question....

hey.... even on the guage cluster its blue... according to the diagrams, its b10 or b11 (the b side should have the most pinouts)....

good luck "

if you're not to sure about which wire is what on the cluster.... visit that site i posted on geocities.com.... it's accurate info and you should be able to wire in a cluster (as long as you can understand diagrams)...

good luck and keep us posted on what happens...
