Only thing that puzzles me is how come this "How to:" looks so much easier/less complicating than Honda Hicks "How to:" of the Blox manifold? Maybe because his is GSR?

can you explain this? how does that get rid of the crazy idle? just wondering...

 

there is no Fluids running through there and that is what the IACV goes off to control the idles.. so by looping them together it keeps a same flow and pressure in there at idle so it will not create the flucuation. ive done it to 5 other cars and it works.

totally not smart with the map sensor in.

 

ya it was totally smart cause the MAP sensor was junk anyway. got raped for one at honda $98

 

jdm how bout some quick instructions on how you did that idle thing? looks like you looped a hose but icant tell

 

i just took a piece of vaccum hose and connected the 2 nipples together

AND YOU WILL NOT GET A CEL BY DOING THIS

 

do you have to plug any other hoses?

 

i just looped the coolant line that went into the IACV. and i pluged it in with the hose that goes to the intake manifold for the TB cooler. and i plugged of the TB coolant hoses.
