Default AT Tranny fluid question for 5th gen

Ok, I've read a few topics regarding AT trannies, and I am wondering, is Honda ATF the wisest choice since it is from Honda, or is that just brand name loyalty. Also, what type of motor oil should i be using if my lude is over 112xxx miles. i am currently using 10w40. should i change to another weight. any help is greatly appreciated.
