so my buddy decided to order the carbon spoon look alike lip from jdmcarboy (a sponsor on this site) for his 94 civic del sol, it takes 3 weeks after he pays to get to him, and we recieve the lip, he was at work the day he got it, so he wasnt able to test the fit, the next day i was happy to help him put it on, but we run into problems, theres no way the lip is for this car!, so we look at the lip and it says on it 99 c1v2dr so im guessint its for a 99 civic 2 door liek a si or something... but yeah!!!! we emailed him, nad he said that this is infact the right lip and must be professionally installed, and the bumoer needs to be heated WTF...

i have bought VIS carbon lips for my buddyes rsx, and my buddys eg, and i have worked with fiberglass and ****... fiberglass pieces suck but every carbon lip i have got fit almost dead on, this lip is about 2 inches 2 wide on each side!!! and jdmcarboy doesnt want to fix this problem heres the pics u tell me if this seems right to you!

wow that looks way off. i had a vis lip and it was only a tad bit off and a hair dryer fixed it to get it the right bend.

well my first idea was to call them, but his site shows no number whatsoever, so we did the email thing and he said use a hair dryer, im sorry but ir should be off by maybe 1/4 to half inch not no 1.5-2 inches on each side thats just ridiculous!!!! so i pmed him this threads url i hope he solves this problem, it said 99C1V2DR!!! on the damn lip!!!

Damn.. I knew there was something fishy about them.. They had pretty low prices, looks like some of their products are crap.
