Yeah I was working on my friends RSX-S installing a V2 intake and when we tried to get the metal valve peice out of the thermal valve we accidently brok it off where the hose connects to the thermal valve assembely. Is this going to cause any problems down the road? I wouldent think it would but want to be 100% sure. Thanks

 

Hahah.. I think everyone has broken that piece off the valve. Its a plastice pvc pipe huh.
Well its mainly used for blow back.
And if you want to replace that part you cant just buy that plastic part only. You will have to order the whole piece which includes a water pump of some sort. Be prepared to pay between 100-150 for that part unless you can find a used one off someone.

 

lol, Yeah my friend already got a quote and it's like 100 but I work with a dealership so it's like $59.00 but still I didnt think i needed it so ill just let it chill.

How do you guys like your V2 intake? Did you feel any gains on the butt dyno? My friend is looking to do this as his first mod to his Type-S.
