I've PM'd this guy from Team Rice with the hot CRX from way back then and he told me Yokohama made stencils for markign on their tires.

^ not really, the yokohama stencil paints over the sidewall of the tire regardless whether its on top of the actual letters or not

Duplicolor makes a special paint pen for lettering on sidewalls. they have red, white, and yellow. it looks kind of like one of those paint markers, it is called Hot Tire or Hot Tires. Just came out so it might be hard to find still.
