As some of you know, im restoring the rex.. i can get replica of the oem bumper cover... has any of you used that replicas?
are they actually good..
im on a budget.. so.. i really cant afford right now the oem ones..

What do you think

Are you talking replica as in Certi-Fit? If your going to restore and want to do it right OEM BABY!

I have a Certi-Fit bumper on my car and if I were going to restore a vehicle I would do OEM. Certi-Fit = Certi-sh*t

 

I have a Certifit on my car and it fits just fine. Decent quality, and it was like $45 bucks.

I guess it's hit or miss though....

 

its not from certifit.. its another company, its imported from asia

 

i had one from a local company called "auto body panels" on my del sol that i got for like $60. it fit OK, not OEM, but it fit. as far as quality of the plastic, it seemed about the same. what is the price difference you are looking at OEM compared to replica?

 

I work at a body shop, it really depends on the manufacturer of the bumper cover. Some fit decent and others look like they're from another car all together. Meaning they fit like crap
